Calgary Signal Hill (Formerly Calgary West)
Calgary Signal Hill is a newly formed federal electoral district that encompasses the west end of Calgary, Alberta. The new riding boundaries are as follows – 101 street out to Highway 8, including the Discovery Ridge Community, along Highway 8 to Glenmore Trail; North along 37th Street to Bow Trail; East to the Bow River, following the river until it intersects with Stoney Trail and 101 Street.
Communities in Signal Hill include but are not limited to, Discovery Ridge, Glamorgan, Bowness, Valley Ridge, Cougar Ridge, Signal Hill, and the Slopes.
Signal Hill was created by the 2012 federal electoral boundaries redistribution and is legally defined in the 2013 representation order. It will come into effect upon the call of the 42nd Canadian federal election, scheduled for October 2015.

About the Candidate
Taryn was raised in Calgary and the Signal Hill Area most of her life, currently residing in the Wentworth Community near the west boundary of the riding. She has a degree in Interdisciplinary Leadership from Renaissance College at the University of New Brunswick and is currently serving her community as the marketing director at cmi speaker management, and is working towards a Bachelors of Education at the Werklund School of Education at the University of Calgary.
